We snapped SHELFIES with our favorite books and edited them with our favorite photo editing tool: picmonkey. Add your shelfie to #amsreads! Many thanks to to Caleb L. for suggesting the topic of this week's Research Questions!
Research Tips: *Use "Level 3" to find the article on Alcatraz in Encyclopaedia Britannica. *For the Dig Deep questions, there is no right or wrong answer. You give an answer based on the information you learn in the article. Remember: the answer to a Dig Deep Question is not just your opinion. You have to provide evidence from the article to support your answer.

Because of high-demand for both The Red Queen and this new sequel, checkouts are limited to 5 days. See Ms. Christle with questions. In December, Ms. Bridges's Groovy Science Students researched information about snow, and then used that information to make a prediction about when the first snowfall of
AT LEAST 2 inches would happen at the National Weather Service Station in Blacksburg, Virginia. Congratulations to the student researchers (and a few of their invited guests) whose prediction came the closest. Their reward? A Library Snowball Fight and Hot Chocolate Party. Too. Much. Fun. |
